Dr Delene Murray matriculated in Pretoria in 1999 and completed her BSc: Medical Sciences degree (cum laude) at the University of Pretoria in 2002. She then applied and studied towards a MBChB-degree graduating cum laude from the University of Pretoria in 2008.
She did her 2 year internship at George Provincial Hospital and came back to Pretoria for community service at East Lynne Clinic in 2012. Working in primary health care, she grew interested in palliative medicine and enrolled for the diploma in palliative medicine and enrolled for the diploma in palliative medicine at the University of Cape Town in 2015.
She joined the ABJ practice in May 2016 as a general practitioner in oncology with a special interest in the global wellbeing of the patient.
She is currently involved at the Wilgers, Midstream and Unitas practices.
She is married to Tertius, the financial and project manager of a non-government organisation specialising in projects for social development and environmental sustainability.
They have three children: a boy of 7 and two girls aged 5 and 2.
Apart from working, she enjoys jogging, home renovations, family gatherings and reading.
